All of the coaches at Youth Architects were recruited for their experience, their ability to relate to youth and desire to see youth succeed. Our goal is to have coaches with an array of talents that allows us to serve families through their middle school, high school and college years.

Brian J. Silldorff, MS, CLC-Life Coach   
Brian’s 20+ years in full time youth ministry, 18 years of coaching soccer and leading over 100 youth mission trips has equipped him with the experience needed crack the youth code. His ability to motivate youth while expanding their perspective allows them to achieve their goals. Brian also meets with parents as they struggle to understand their youth.

Brian and his wife, Alicia, have one daughter, Josey.

                               Chloe Kingery, MS, NCC-Masters Level Counselor and Life Coach
                               Chloe earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in May 2011 from the
                               College of Charleston. She relocated to New Orleans in the fall of 2012 to pursue a                                     Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University where
                               she became an active member of Chi Sigma Iota Honors Society.  As a graduate
                               assistant, she conducted research in the area of adolescent relationship development
                               as well as the role of technology on brain development. Before moving back to
                               Columbia, Chloe worked with the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s office as a
                               diversion counselor.

Counseling and assessments with youth and their families addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, adjustments/transitions, restorative practices, adolescent drama and learning challenges
   

Jason Brunson, Fitness Coach
Jason has worked in the Strength and Conditioning industry for the past ten years. He joined the team at Athlete’s Arena in 2011 after previously spending six years coaching at the high school level. As a true believer that experience is the best knowledge, throughout his career Jason has used every opportunity possible to learn from some of the best in the business. As a South Carolina Advisory Board member for the National Strength Coaches Association (NSCA) Jason strives to coach and train each athlete to their fullest potential no matter the level of playing field, court, or track.

Jason strongly believes that improved performance in life and athletics can only be achieved through the implementation of a proper evaluation followed by researched based training regiments. Those elements combined with an the effort to provide athletes with a foundation of dedication, hard work, a competitive nature, and persistence are what drive his desire to wake up each day to work with both young and mature men and woman alike.

 Michele Kingery, Writing Coach
Michele Kingery is a former creative writing teacher at Heathwood Hall Episcopal School. She was invited to participate in both the prestigious 
Sewanee and Bread Loaf writer's conferences. Her writing has appeared in The Charlotte Observer and The State.  Her novel Starfish was short-listed for the "Green Earth Book Award". 

Michele and her husband, David, have four children.

Sally McKay, Speech Coach
Sally is a professional speech coach and trainer with more than 20 years of experience in public relations, media coaching and customer service training.  An award-winning graduate of the University of South Carolina College of Journalism and Mass Communications and the Buckley School of Public Speaking, Sally has coached CEOs, customer service representatives, government officials, bankers and other
professionals in the areas of public speaking, understanding audiences and customers, and working with the media.  She also works with students preparing for interviews and presentations. 

In addition to coaching, Sally is an avid yoga practitioner.  She has been an instructor at City Yoga in Columbia for more than 12 years and has studied with nationally and internationally known instructors and philosophers.  Sally brings an intentional and playful teaching style to her deep knowledge of alignment-based hatha yoga.  A former ballet, tap and jazz dancer and teacher, Sally still laces up her tap shoes and provides lessons upon request. 

Sally and her husband, J. Walker McKay, Jr. have two sons, Walker and Mitchell.

Bunny Peacock, Academic Coach
Bunny Peacock received her Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of South Carolina in 1997. She began her teaching career at Heathwood Hall Episcopal School as a Middle School math and science teacher. After the birth of her first daughter, Bunny began privately tutoring in her home. She continued a successful tutoring program until returning to the classroom in 2011. At Hammond School, Bunny taught study skills classes for small groups, individual students, and large classrooms. She also coordinated the tutoring program in the Academic Enrichment Center and was the liaison between the school and community psychoeducational specialists working with students diagnosed with learning differences. Bunny's educational goals are to be a liaison and advocate for parents and students to help achieve overall academic success.

Bunny has been happily married to Thomas Peacock for over 18 years. They have four beautiful daughters who encourage, surprise, and challenge them everyday!
